Why, oh why, did you kill her, Insanity?

Several reasons, really. One being that I wanted to give her an upgrade – a MASSIVE upgrade – but, at the time, EVERYONE in the ~Recroom was getting upgrades, plus I didn't think I could justify as big of a change as I wanted on a whim of Galeforce's. So I decided to do it in the most EPIC and OVERLY COMPLEX way possible. There were other big reasons, but I’m going to site that as the main one.

BUT THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

For, you see, I am a wrathful Go -- deviant. Galeforce is going to abuse everyone she can get her hands on. I am not joking about this. I may be playful now but give me a while. I’ll get more “creative” with my abuse.

Which is why we are going to let Y’ALL decide how this goes down.

If y’all want, I can keep her this way forever. The longer I play with a drill sergeant, the better I’m gonna get and, more than likely I am to just decide to keep things that way.

However … If y’all want her to go back to her redneck ways, then we get to play a little game~!

HOW TO GET THE REDNECK RED AGAIN:

STEP ONE - Sacrifice 15 drill sergeant/parole officer pictures, comics, or stories to me. They can be anything you want. She doesn’t even have to be in them, so long as they are related to/inspired by her.


STEP TWO - Pitch ideas for how to get her back to her old self to me. Just send me a note with an idea for a plot that (a) involves MULTIPLE D-cons, (b) makes the process difficult (‘cause you are fighting Galeforce’s will as well as Shockwave’s programming) and (c) is just generally believable.

I’m not gonna lie. In my mind, the only ‘Cons capable of doing what we are talking about are Axis and, if they worked as a team, Ebony Sonata and Lona Brigg. If you don’t have one or more of them on your team, I’m going to need some convincing.


STEP THREE - Execute the plan with as much epicness as possible.

THIS GAME IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL.

If y’all want to keep her all Shockwavey forever, that’s cool too. But, be warned, she isn’t going to be fun if y’all decided y’all want to go there.

When I say "bring the old Gale back," I do mean retrieving her sense of humor and laid-backness. She WILL NOT stop being a drill sergeant. She WILL NOT stop training new Guardians. But she will take care of her childrens, hit on people for the lulz, and just generally be fun to be around.

Let's make this a little more interesting.

Fifteen deviations of ANY kind (drawing, comic, story, poem, etc.) buys you entrance into the "fight." Teaming up is all but required once you are in the planning stages.

Once you are part of the fight, you may fight to get the old Galeforce back or to keep her this way.

Plots must be approved by yours truly via notes. Count on me approving plots on both sides to keep y'all on your toes.
