After not so much deliberation, the conclusion was made that there needs to be a Decepticon Beauty Contest! The contest will have three stages: nomination, squad competition, and base wide competition. Deadlines will be posted as we go along. Nominations close January 12th.

NOTICE: There has been a lot of confusion, so allow me to clarify. If you are nominated you do not HAVE to do anything. I will be personally drawing all “official” pictures of the competition. However, in the hopes of encouraging art/writing trades, you can – but do not have to - draw pictures or write stories to gain points for the ‘Con of your choice. It’s a way to vote more than once but is in no way required.

Nomination
As your character, post a nomination for your squad’s contestant in this journal. You cannot nominate yourself. You cannot nominate more than one ‘Con or ‘Cons in a squad other than your own. Squad leaders are ineligible. Nominations must be femmes or man-pretty mechs.

For the sake of convenience, please state your nomination’s squad. If a squad has no nominations, I will pick two characters for the next round.

Squad-wide competition
The competitors for each squad will be posted. As your character, place your vote for which of your squadmates should move on to the next round. One vote per OC. We are ‘Cons, however, so there is a way to increase the odds of your pick winning.

1 pt. will be awarded for a “verbal” vote on the picture with the candidates.
2 pts. for a sketch or drawing of your character voting and/or the character he/she is voting for.
3 pts. for a “complete” comic or written story regarding the voting.

While your OC can’t vote for him/herself, feel free to bribe and blackmail and plot with your fellow ‘Cons in order to get them to vote for you. You can gain points that way as well (1 pt. for sketch/drawing of bribing/blackmailing, 2 pts. for comic or story about bribing/blackmailing). Every strategy short of killing your opponents is fair game. Just make sure to make it clear who the point is supposed to be given to either in your drawing/writing or artist’s comments.

Ties will be dealt with if and when they appear.

Base-wide competition
The squad winners face off against each other. The rules are the same as the squad-wide competition, point wise, but you may vote for any character, regardless of whether or not they are in you squad.

Prize
The winner gets a beauty contest themed drawing or comic of his/her choosing from me as well as a butt-load of fanwork that has been built up over the course of the competition.
